A stylish rocker, designer and loving mother of 3 children; Gwen Stefani showed up in a hot pink with black panel of 2 piece ensemble. Both pieces are from her clothing line L.A.M.B. I love her style that evening. Gwen always appear stylish yet comfortable. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift walk to red carpet with a new look. Wow! The adult Taylor is finally out! Taylor showed up in a one piece by   Mary Katrantzou. I like the detailing embroidery on the fabric. Some may hate it or love it. I personally love the whole look but not too revealing. Messy wavy hairdo with hot coral lipstick. Simply modern sexy! Ooohh Aaaa... Miley Cyrus has arrived but this time more to less kuku. She wore 2 piece; a leather crop top and pants both in black colour by Alexandre Vauthier. I love what she presented that evening more edgy and grown up.  

 

 

Sizzling Red

 

The moment she walked on the red carpet everyone jaw dropped. Rita Ora appear in a sexy deep v neckline, spaghetti straps high slit dress and it is in red. Wow! Wow! Wow! Rita is sizzling in red by Donna Karan Atelier. You rocked the VMA red carpet. Swap up hairdo with clean make up gives a refined complete look. Did you realized that Rita's finger nails with diamonds? Yes, Rita's manicurist Barbara Warner painted her nails with Azature’s Black Diamond Nail Lacque in RubyDiamond, which contain real black diamonds and then crafted the nail art out of diamonds and ruby stones. Approx. USD 56K. I love VMA crazy style! Not forgot, the beautiful Demi Lovato looks radiant that evening wore a classic red dress by Lanvin and her classy clutch by Charlotte Olympia clutch. I love the sexy v neckline with long sleeves covered her arms. Sizzling high slit and the cut of this dress really flaunt her beautiful figure. Demi reminds me about the sassy Jessica Rabbit.

 

 

Sisters POWER!

 

She love bright colours and Mother to baby Blue Ivy; Beyoncé Knowles-Carter showed up in an unique body hugging  with intricate lace detailing couture dress by Nicolas Jebran. The dress in black colour long sleeves. Big soft wavy hairdo and a pinch of dazzle statement earrings by Lorraine Schwartz. Meanwhile, Beyoncé's stylish sister Solange Knowles showed up fashionably modern in glittery oversized suit by H&M Collection. Its simple yet glamour. The modern vibes mixed with minimalism classic transformed it into an unique look. If the late Coco Chanel still alive until to this day I'm sure she will love it. Love Solange's hair style and her natural makeup. The Jenner's Sister; Kendall and Kylie appear in black ensemble. Kendall Jenner wore a sleek high waist jumpsuit with sheer on top by Alon Livne. A splash of gold necklace, bracelet and clutch as her accessories. Kylie Jenner wore a beautiful black silk high slit dress by Alexandre Vauthier, an elegant necklace by Giles & Brother and bracelets by Cartier. Love the style; its edgy, fresh and elegant.  That evening she look sophisticated and more adult than her normal comfort zone.

 



 

Sparkling Queen
 

The singer to Fancy song, Iggy Azalea showed up in a stunning bedazzled Atelier Versace dress.  The details on dress hit all the rights places on Iggy's body. Plus, I like her shimmery silver colour of her dress and a simple chain diamond necklace by Nasrin Imani . The Sassy Naughty Singer; Kesha appear very demure on the red carpet in a elegant A shape dress by Johanna Johnson and Fred Leighton gold bracelet . A good try Kesha and we all love it. Its an excellent start to dressed up ladylike once awhile with a correct way. Congratulation to your amazing stylist. What I love all about this dress; Its soft, fully beaded and perfect cut. The rainbow soft wavy hairdo, simple yet gorgeous! A TV star and famous singer-performer; Jennifer Lopez showed up on the red carpet in a jaw dropping sexy dress by Charbel Zoe. The hot mama look super amazing with cut out and high slit dress definitely a WOW! VMA look.

 

 

Rocker Chic
 

Still new to the industry the 21 year old singer; Ariana Grande pose confidently in a leather ensemble by Moschino. I quite impressed with her VMA style. Something sexy, rock n' roll and fresh but appropriate for her agree. That devious thigh high leather boots suitable for the whole look. Love her long signature ponytail.  I would like to see more from her in the next event. Something more grown up but still Ariana's style. A famous celebrity and fashion lover; Kim Kardashian hit the red carpet in a full coloured beaded deep plunging neckline tight mini skirt and black woven cage shoes   by Balmain.  It is an unique design and I love the details on the dress. Some may love or not; the dress still high fashion and Kim flawless style it with confident. Messy dark wavy hairdo and natural simply a perfect combination.

66th Emmys Red Carpet Report

Shades of Red

 

 

Showed up in beautiful coral colour dress by Zac Posen. Heidi Klum look elegantly sophisticated that evening. I love the soft wavy hairdo and her big chandelier earrings by Lorraine Schwartz. I love what she presented that evening, sexy without showing too much. I hope that Heidi will style more this kind dress in future. Winner of Outstanding Lead Actress; Julia Louis-Dreyfus, look sweet and fresh in her red raspberry halter dress by Carolina Herrera. I love the dress design. Simple yet sleek; little bit of pleats on the top and belted. Love her swipe to left dark hairdo. It gives the dress looks alive. The moment I saw this beautiful 2 piece wore by Sarah Hyland. Wow! It's from Christian Siriano's design. I love the voluminous skirt in Orangey Red colour with the cute white crop top. The big bun hairdo gives her a fresh and très chic look.

The sassy bombshell; Sofia Vergara all glammed up in beautiful white dress by Roberto Cavalli. The mermaid dress with metallic lines around the dress help to show her amazing figure. I would like to see Sofia's hairdo up and sleek. It gives her more young and refined look. Please don't hide that beautiful Lorraine Schwartz earrings with your wavy hairdo; let it shine. Sometimes you need to try something new dear. Someone looks very royal that evening. Katherine Heigl showed up in beautiful champagne-gold satin dress by John Hayles. I love this dress. Classic meets Classy. She look amazing without showing too much. The forever shines Chopard bracelets and stylish in gold Orton Clutch totally WOW! Not forget the beautiful Jessica Pare, she showed up smile and pose in a dazzling black beaded Lanvin dress. Ohh God! I love Lanvin dresses. Simply timeless and stylish. The platinum-diamond necklace by Fred Leighton on her neckline was a statement piece that evening. Urgh...very unique, love it!.

A Oscar Winner and Mother of two kids; Halle Berry walk on the red carpet in lovely lavender belted chiffon Grecian gown by Elie Saab with a matching suede pump. She look stunning and elegant with the high slit without revealing too much. Meanwhile, Ms. Pretty Woman Julia Roberts showed up with her signature big smile in a bedazzled beaded Elie Saab Peplum partner with voluminous mini skirt. I love this look. It look fresh and classy. Yes, I do agree about the garment, it little bit inappropriate for her age but she looks great. Her killer legs was the spotlight that evening.



#PrayForMH17 Welcome Home Dear Malaysians...

22 August 2014, It was a quiet bright morning and most everyone dressed in dark colour. From far I can see the national flag flown half-mast on the roof of my office building. Its hard to expressed it in words. My colleagues and I at the office take our time to join the National Day of Mourning through live streaming by local channel from our computers or smartphones. Thank you #RTMMalaysia and #TV3Malaysia bringing clear live coverage during the ceremony. 
 

 

Yesterday, Malaysia had its first National Day of Mourning for all Malaysians. I feel sad but relieved that the remains of 20 Malaysians who were killed in flight #MH17 arrived yesterday morning around 9.50 AM (Malaysia Time) at Bunga Raya Complex, Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The remains flown by using MASCargo flight MH6129 from Amsterdam. 
 

 

 

It is heart breaking to watch the family members, close friends and colleagues in tears, although I'm not part from them but I know how it feels in their shoes. The moment when the door hearse of 20 closed, citizens of Malaysia pay their last respects in the moment of silence for 1 minute.

 

 

 

My thoughts and prayers are with the crews and passengers of #MH17 . My deepest condolences to the families and friends that affected in this tragedy; Stay strong. May everyone on board MH17 rest in peace and to  Malaysian victims; Welcome Home. Let's together  pray for the souls and #justiceforMH17 .

Her quotes about fashion and life will remain (timeless) until to the next generation. Did you know Chanel No19 was originally created as her signature fragrance and named after her birthdate on 19 August 1883. I love the scent of No19's. Little pinch of woods and floral. It feel sensual and feminine but bold. Perfect combination of Chanel for a modern and classy lady.

 

The Next "IT" Bag; Incognito Bag

His designs and fragrance always turn me on. From texture, lines, colour palette or heavenly scents he know how to play it well. Yes. I'm a fan of Marc Jacobs's artwork from his glorious days with and left Louis Vuitton. The difference between MJ with LV or MJ with his own brand is the pure essence of Luxe and Street Chic. I still remember the first debut of the quirky Stam Bag. It was a big buzz by fashionistas around the world and MJ's Stam Bag become an Icon since then.  Recently, Marc Jacobs announced their latest handbags collection for Fall/Winter 2014 and welcoming the new IT bag; Incognito Bag. This beautiful bag appear in structured shape, more refined details with elegant clean lines. Based what I observed, I do believe Incognito will be in the iconic bag list. It looks classic but with a splash of modern silhouette and shiny hardware give it more an updated feel.

 

 

Reported that the name of Incognito pays homage to the understated effortlessness of the women that Marc himself admires. This beauty made by hand in Italian Factory by well-trained MJ's artisans. Summer Vacation

Bright sunny day on a private super yacht in Cannes or maybe laying down on white sandy beach in Rayavadee Krabi; of course it will be a great summer vacation. But to pack for a summer vacation with style can be challenging for a guy. There a lot of men magazine can be your reference. As a modern guy; you should learn how to dress appropriate accordingly for your age.

In 20's, Express your fun side through a t-shirt with modern graphic or cool wording it can be interesting. Don't show over skin; Keep it low and appropriate. Invest good plain crisp shirt long sleeve that you can easy to wear it mix and match. It can in plain white, coloured or printed. Don't forget to pick a short sleeved shirt will be great for your wardrobe. Keep it simple and clean when you planning for your vacation wardrobe. Choose light fabrics and don't be afraid to play with colours but in moderation. Play simple with a splash of fun.   

Guys, please don't overly used your flip flops. Let it be with you at beach or by the swimming pool. Pick something cooler than flip flops; try a simple Espadrilles, Rivieras or Driving Shoes. It looks great from day to night. For water activities, get a pair of good trunks; not skin-tight "speedo" -  Pick something little bit covered; mid-thigh trunk will be more presentable and appropriate. We want to be classy not trashy.

 

Tips: Invest good accessories; Nylon Tote Bag / Leather Backpack, Sunglasses and a good Watch (Water Resistant)

 

In 30's, Most of guys in this age are working as professional or in business. Sometimes they will mixed up with working or vacation attire. Upgrade your travel wear; It may change the whole you into a trendy traveller. Splurge yourself a good Blazer or Jacket and Leather Tote Bag good investment into your wardrobe.

 

Guys, please tone down your socks obsession. No one looks great with a sandal with socks. Seriously? That's NOT cool. Choose a simple Driving Shoes, Espadrilles or classic Leather Sandal. A good crisp white cotton tee will be great with your Bermuda pants. Take some risk; Don't be native in Fashion. Don't dressed like a local; Be a stylish tourist. Trust me the ladies will like you style. Who knows there will be a romance while you enjoying on your vacation.

In 40's, You have to be careful when picking essentials for your vacation. Being a tourist doesn't mean looking like them. Pick a quality t-shirt or short sleeved shirt partner it with a Bermuda shorts or a Capri pants. It will freshen up your look. Please don't put your suit on; leave formal and socks for awhile. Be free and enjoy your summer holiday.

 

NO Caps, Flip Flops and cheap T-Shirt. Let the young lads wear it. Experiment something new from you usually wear. Try a stylish Fedora or straw trilby hat. Pick something stylish for your footwear; Leather Driving Shoes or Leather Sandal. Plain clean crisp shirt always the best. You can dress it up or down, from day to night. If you like something fun pick short sleeved shirt with small floral or abstract print into your luggage bag. Keep it simple; Simplicity always win.

It can be strangely stylish in rectangle shape or fold over; it will become a new dimension of style. Tom Ford's ALIX famous with it's shape and design. It is one of a kind bag. Something unique yet fabulously daring. Yes, Alix Bag labeled as Quirky Chic by most bag collector or Tom's fans. These devious bag has it own signature appeal because of its phenomenal shape.

 

 

Recently, Tom Ford has revealed it's 3 new handbag under AlixCollection; Alix Leather Tote, Alix Medium Fold-Over Shoulder and Alix Medium Panther Print. Based what I'd observed the new collection of these different bags are the same design with different type of usage. 693 5th Avenue, Valentino's New Address

Recently, I'd received my invitation from Valentino and I feel happy that Valentino will officially open their flagship in New York City. Sadly, I'm currently in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia unable to attend the opening. Valentino is one of my top favorite brands and I love all Mr.Garavani's masterpiece. From the dresses, ball gowns, fabulous hats until to his bedazzling accessories. Each of his designs has it owns beauty and women loves it like Mr. Garavani said "I know what women want. They want to be beautiful."

Back a year ago there a rumour that Valentino in the making a secret project in New York. After Valentino announced its takeover of the former Takashimaya Department Store. The rumour that hovering around by the fashion media ended with a joy. Valentino will mark 693 5th Avenue as their new address. It will be the label's largest flagship. The massive 200,00 sq ft flagship concept developed by Valentino's Creative Director; Maria Grazia and Pierpaolo, holding hands together with the well established Architect; David Chipperfield.

I'd have the chance to see the concept store design. "Modern Art of Italia..Simply Valentino!" Even though, It's not official photographed I can imagine how it will look like; the spacious showrooms with modern style shelves, beautiful mable effects on the wall and floor with gorgeous sculptural staircase. The label's flagship open on 1st of August 2014 and heard that the flagship will carry all Valentino's product from Men's Collection and Women RTW. There will a special floor for menswear collection and selection of Valentino Garavani collection and accessories. I'm sure Valentino's fans will be delightful to experience the new store and shop 'til drop.
